Beckwith
is
an
active,
healthy,
adult
male
red-eared
slider.
Although
he
would
like
an
outdoor
pond
in
a
fenced-in
backyard
to
call
his
own,
a
55-gallon
or
larger
aquarium
or
indoor
pond
would
be
acceptable.
He was offered for adoption when his family couldn't afford to up-grade his living conditions.

Beckwith was sold illegally as a hatchling in New York City's Chinatown. PLEASE HELP OTHER TURTLES like Beckwith by calling the NYC health department or the regional FDA office if you see hatchling sliders for sale. Both numbers are in the blue pages of a phone book.
