MetroPets
is looking for "Internet Researchers" to to
help us verify information and add to our web site.
Only browsing skills and access to email is required.
Yellow
Pages Project:
- We
need a Project Coordinator and Researchers. The Project
Coordinator will keep track of the volunteers who
are updating the pages, monitor progress, and make
sure that updates are made in a timely fashion. researchers
will be assigned a section of the Yellow Pages to
verify and update
Events
Calendar:
- We
still need people to update a few sections of the
Events Calendar. Volunteers spend 1-2 hours each month
checking for new events.
Legal
Updates:
- This
volunteer will monitor proposed and final legislation
in Maryland, DC and Virginia and federal legislation
that affects the well-being of companion animals,
and prepare updates to be posted on the web site.
